Abundant rest For Health & Healing

Abundant Rest is a theraputic Non-profit organization founded by Lenzi Rowsey, MPA, MHFA.  THE PURPOSE specializes in educating underserved African American communities all over the U.S. on how to maintain psychological & cardiovascular wellness. R.E.S.T. which acronyms stand for 'rejuvenation everyday surrenders time' highlights the importance of cardiovascular health and mental sustainability. THE mission statement suggests  "rejuvenation in our daily lives is vital to decrease the risk of life-threatening illnesses like heart disease, strokes, high blood pressure, and depression”.

    Abundant rest, llc partners with other organizations that are looking TO BE AN ADVOCATE FOR PUBLIC HEALTH EDUCATIOON SURROUNDING the importance of HOLISTIC HEALING. mS. ROWSEY'S first collaborative event was with 'choices memphis CENTER for Reproductive health'. SHE spoke with a courageous group of MOTHERS APART OF A POSTPARTUM GROUP & provided resources FOR daily self care tactICS THEY could impLEment to OBTAIN PSYCHOLOGICAL clarity. CHOICES MEMPHIS CENTER FOR REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH IS ALSO THE HOST FOR AN ANNUAL COMMUNITY BABY SHOWER WHERE FAMILIES CAN GAIN KNOWLEDGE AROUND MENTAL, PHYSICAL, & FINANCIAL WELLNESS. LAST YEAR, MS. ROWSEY HAD THE HONOR OF BEING INVITED AS A GUEST SPEAKER TO SHARE HER MISSION STATEMENT FOR ABUNDANT REST. THIS WAS AN EVENT THAT PROVIDED TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE & CONCRETE SOLUTIONS FOR THE COMMUNITY. THE SERVICES OF ABUNDANT REST, LLC WERE ALSO VOLUNTEEERED with THE MISSIONS MINISTRY AT brown missionary baptist CHURCH. THE NAME OF THE EVENT WAS "JESUS LOVES MEMPHIS" & IT TRULY BLESSED A MULTITUDE OF RESIDENTS IN THE CASTALIA COMMUNITY. MS. rowsey, president & ceo, HAS RECENTLY BEEN FEATURED as an esteemed 40 UNDER 40 honoree for the MEMPHIS BUISNESS JOURNAL class of 2024 . IT'S ONE OF THE MOST PRESTEGIOUS AWARDS IN MEMPHIS, TN; SHINING A LIGHT ON various innnovative leaders who exude A LEVEL OF EMPATHY, SERVANTHOOD, & COMPASSION FOR FAMILIES ALL OVER THE MID-SOUTH. Ms. Rowsey has now expanded her brand to nashville, tennessee, serving the citizens of davidson county & surrounding areas. she focuses on prevention education measures that assist african american communites & faith based congregations on the dangers of opioid use, harm reduction, & mental health awareness.
Meet The CEO: Lenzi L. Rowsey, MPA, MHFA is a charismatic, energetic, & persuasive young professional offering expertise in community service advocacy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She graduated summa cum laude from The University of Mississippi with a bachelors degree in Clinical Psychology and a minor in English/Legal Studies. Upon the completion of her bachelors degree she continued her education by receiving a master's degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Urban Development. Lenzi is well-versed in collaborating with various cultures. She is bilingual, moderately speaking Spanish as a second language. In her free time, she finds joy in exploring diverse passions—immersing herself in thought-provoking books, discovering new horizons through travel, prioritizing wellness through exercise, deepening her faith during worship, and channeling creativity into impactful community initiatives. During a presentation as keynote speaker with The Heart Institute at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. She expresses "My primary goal is to connect meaningfully with target audiences by assessing and designing community education programs focused on promoting mental and physical well-being for a healthier lifestyle.. The source of my strength as CEO comes from the Lord. Isaiah 40:31 has a declaration of decree which states, "Those that wait on the Lord will renew their strength, they will mount up with wings & soar like eagles, they will run & not grow weary, they will walk & not faint".
